Stevedoring
Overview
We use large cranes (unloaders and a tire-mounted crane) on the wharf at Shinnanyo Public Quay and at the pier in Tosoh’s Nanyo Complex to unload raw materials and fuel (raw salt and coal) from large vessels from overseas. We also load and unload containers and general cargo on domestic vessels operating only in Japan.
Raw materials and fuel are transported to manufacturing plants and power plants through storage facilities at Tosoh’s Nanyo Complex.
